11/4/09 Explore Castlelearning

Test: There will be a unit test on Thursday, 11/5. The focus of the teat will be on material from the Atoms to Cells and Activity in the Cell units. Click these links to download the notes and review questions.

I have set up classes for the castlelearning.com website. Students may go there to review for tests and as study guides. Students will have to log in with "averillpark.studentid" where studentid is their id number in 9 digit format, with leading zeros, if needed. The first time students log in they will be prompted to set up a password. I have set up a review test.

Today we:

• Continued work in class on a cells & organelles worksheet.
  
• The presentations notes are available as downloads: Two slides per page in color, 6 slides in black & white, for printing by clicking these links. To download the PowerPoint presentation, with the media, click this link (this file is 107 MB). This package has to be unzipped. There is a viewer included, in case you don't own PowerPoint.

• Continue work on the cells and organelles worksheets.
  
• Review the notes.
• Study for the test.
