Long term data Collection

The Long term data Collection is now posted. To enter data click on this link: Long term Data Collection APHSBio. You can mark it in your browser, so you don't have to come back to this link each time.

For students that have been collecting data, you may enter it in this form. You will need to enter data for each day. For those that enter data for the month of December, I will give you extra credit. If you enter for the entire time we should have been collecting data, I will give you an 8 point bonus on the next test. I am also willing to give 2 points for each week, in case you don't have complete data for the month.

After Jan 1, 2010, you will be required to enter data. You may enter a weeks data at a time. You certainly may enter the data daily. I will enter a grade each week, for the data entered. This is an easy way to get continued good grades for your projects. You will be graded on your effort, and all data might not be entered each day.

12/22/09 Nervous System Webquest

2009 - 2010 Year begins

Each new class and each new school year comes with many questions. This is a place where you will be able to find many answers.

At this blog I will post whet we are doing in class. I will also post links to sites that have information that will enrich what we are doing in class. Every piece of material, except the 4 state labs, that I hand out will be posted here.

This site was started last year, so you will be able to see what the last class did, and will be able to "look forward" at what we are going to do.

End of year

Students that have met the lab requirements (and you know who yolu are) will take the Regents test on thursday afternoon, June 18, 2009 @ 12 noon. You should bring pens, pencils and a calculator that is not graphing.

For review you can look at the many resources that were given in class. Additionally you might want to look at exactly what the state has designated as the core curriculum.

This is a nice 4.5 page sheet to focus your review.

Students that have not turned in their textbooks should do so. This will avoid a lot of paperwork.

Students that still have some of their lab reports should hand them in. You can still earn credit on the lab packet grade.

6/2/09 Review

At this point in the semester we are doing review. Students should use their review books and go over material so that if they have any questions they can ask in class.

We will have the final in class test of the year on June 4th & 5th. This test will be similar to a Regents test in format & Length. It will count as the final test grade of the quarter and as the midterm make-up test. Students that do better on this test grade than they did on the midterm will have their midterm grade replaced.

All students will have to hand in their lab reports by Friday, June 5, 2009. This will also be the last day for students to turn in any lab reports that they owe for Regents test eligibility. For a list of all the labs please see the previous entry.
